Aerofybers technologies is a spin-off company arising from the institute of agrochemistry and food science of the spanish research council (iata-csic). their aerogels are made from renewable, sustainable and biodegradable materials. a patented technology allows our cellulosic aerogels to withstand moisture and exhibit high mechanical performances by coating the aerogel with hydrophobic biopolymers.
